World War 1 Trenches

Recently Primary 7 have been learning all about World War 1 with Mr Loane.

They made their very own replicas of war trenches using bits of wood, soil, tinfoil, paint and they even made their very own sandbags out of playdough!

Soldiers in World War 1 normally occupied trenches for weeks at a time, they were designed to protect troops from machine-gun fire and artillery attack from the air.
