WALT understand The Irish Famine

To help us understand more about what famine means we explored famine in our world today.  We exhibited our reseach in picture.

We explore online using the Newsdesk.  We learn together about life in Ireland during the time of the famine.  We take responsibility for our own learning and expore the areas of the famine that we want to learn more about.

In our library there is an area dedicated to the local area.  We were able to explore old newspapers, magazines and yearbooks.  This area of the library was very informative.
