We continued our very valuable link with the technology department of St. Patrick's Academy with a visit from past pupil and now technology teacher, Ciaran Gourley. Ciaran and 4 Academy pupils shared their specialist knowledge with us to help us learn more about bridges. We were challenged to make a truss bridge in pairs only using the materials in the pack provided. Ciaran got us thinking with a challenging quiz about famous bridges across the world. We shared our knowledge of the names, locations and types of bridges.
