The class have studied the World Around Us topic of Rescue at Sea.They studied Grace Darling, made boats for rescue purposes that could carry 5 people and tested how well they will float with passengers aboard. They carried out an experiment to find the best material to make a blanket out of. The pupils also studied the positioning of RNLI stations and how the RNLI serve the community. The pupils enjoyed using the I Pads and the Comic Life programme to produce a Sea Safety poster.
