Gingerbread Man STEM experiment

During our Gingerbread Man theme we wanted to find out how long it would take the Gingerbread man's legs to dissolve in a glass of milk.

To make it a fair test we decided that we would need the same amount of milk in each glass, and to put the Gingerbread man into the milk at exactly the same time. We used a timer to track how long it took his legs to dissolve.

We watched, waited...it took 1 minute 33secs for the legs to dissolve...poor Gingerbread man!
