Perfect Programmers

23rd Mar 2018

We have been exploring different ways of programming, both "plugged" through ipads, laptops, programmable toys (Blu-Bot) and "unplugged" through instructional painting.

When we are programmers we are instructing technology, such as telling Blu-bot where to go, telling the ipad what colour to use and using the mouse on the laptop to select a colour or paintbrush. We called these activities "plugged" activities as we are using technology.

During our "unplugged" activities we were programmed by Mrs Armstrong to carry out a simple instruction . We were only allowed to paint straight lines or wavy lines with the colour that was given to us. We were acting like a computer and Mrs Armstrong was the programmer!
