Today we looked at the parts of a flowering plant. We used magnifying glasses to observe the roots, leaves, flowers and stems.
We talked about the function of each part of the flower and sang a song about the parts. If you ask, the children might even sing the song with the actions they learned to go with it!.
We then made our own diagram of a flower and wrote labels to match the parts.
