For the History Theme Day, P2/3 dressed up as Stone Age people and took part in a variety of activities which helped improve their understanding of life at that time.
Firstly, we performed a Stone Age Dance Drama which told the story of the first people to roam the earth.
Secondly, we tasted a variety of foods that Hunter Gatherers would have had as their diet - berries, fish, nuts, herbs , leaves, apples and pears.
After break we created Cave paintings using pastels and actual drawings from pre-historic times as inspiration.
We finished of the day playing role-play and Pictionary style games focusing on communication in Stone Age times.
