Grandparents Day

On Wednesday the 30th of January marked a special occasion as it was 'Grandparents Day'.

This was a day to show respect and appreciation towards our grandparents.

Reception right up to Primary 7 performed for many of their grannies and granda's who visited our school.

The children performed through song, dance and prayers.

Earlier in the day we had a few grandparents in helping our pupils make St.Brigid day crosses. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed this and learned something new.

We hope the grandparents enjoyed our assembly and felt appreciated on the day!

A HUGE thank you to them for taking the time out in the bad weather conditions to come visit our school, and a BIG well done to all the children who put on a great assembly for everyone!
