We became trainee Doctors, learned of the conditions during World War 1 and the common diseases this caused. We illustrated symptoms onto bodies and diagnosed using the information
we had learnt.
We learned many interesting facts about how the soldiers suffered from a wide range of diseases. We enjoyed illustrating the symptoms and the challenging our peer groups to quess what was wrong with the 'soldier'.
Visiting The STEM Centre gave us a very valuable insight into how difficult life was during WW1 and it set the novel in a meaningful and harsh setting.
