Process Art: We made fireworks from the story The Very Lonely Firefly. We used bright crayons, then painted over the crayons and used pencils to etch firework shapes.
Neon colours
Artist Appreciation: We used pastels to recreate the painting ‘Starry Night’ by Vincent Van Gogh.
Health and Wellbeing
Road Safety: We examined the Lollipop Ladies coat during Road Safety Week and talked about the neon and reflective colours in the coat. We listened to a story about Super Cat’s Green Cross Code and learnt the Super Cat Rap to help us keep safe when crossing the road
