Our Week in Reception and Primary One

16th Mar 2016

Another very busy week in school!   We had our Saint Patricks Day Assembly on Monday. We practised our hearts out all week and we hope you enjoyed our songs and our dancing.  If you missed it you can click on the Youtube link below to hear the song we sang.

We have enjoyed lots of activities about Saint Patrick, leprechauns, rainbows and pots of gold. We have listened to stories about why Saint Patrick is so special to the people of Ireland (and it has nothing to do with snakes!).

We did a survey of all the plants and flowers inside and outside our school and gathered as much information as we could about the types of plants in our school environment.

On Wednesday we had a real treat in class. Miss Hagan brought in her pet lamb for us to see. She is only one week old. We were able to pet her, feed her and we even chose a name for her. Her name is Olivia the Lamb.   Have a great Saint Patrick's Day everyone!. Image result for leprechaun
