Measure in Numeracy

In Primary 6 we are learning more about units of measure.  We investigated the statement: Arm span is equal to height.  Together we decided to use metre sticks to measure height and arm span.  From our investigation we decided the statement was true for most of the class and when arm span and height weren't exactly equal there was only a small difference. 

In Primary 7 we are learning to calculate perimeter using a formula.  Together we decided to use metre sticks to measure the length and breath of the classroom to calculate the perimeter of the classroom using a formula.
