Busy Term 1

P5/6 have had a busy term 1.  During this term they have been learning about trees and water in their World Around Us topics.  They have been doing experiments, learning about the water cycle and the capillary action with plants.

Every Wednesday they had football coaching with Conor Gormley.

The P5 class took part in a four week programme with the Soft Project team on the topic of Getting to Know You, Making Friends, Independence Skills and Emotions/Feelings.

The P6 class took part in the Art Kart Programme run by Mid Ulster Council.  They had the opportunity of using iMovie to produce a short animation.

During Art activities the pupils were studying work from artists Mondrain and Kandinsky.  They produced some beautiful pieces of work.
