Our door was inspired from our learning experiences from Irish myths and legends.  One of our favourite myths is 'The Children of Lir.'  We enjoyed learning about the mythical characters and their mythical and magical features.  We retold the story of 'The Children of Lir' thinking about the age of the audience within the school.  we used easy language and made the story accessible for even the youngest children in the school.
